About Us
The Miami Lakes Bar Association (“MLBA”) is a non-profit voluntary bar association in the State of Florida founded in 2005 by Anthony Diegez, Mark Penzer, Ada Arias, Lizzette Francisco, Gloria Garcia, Evan and Leslie Langbein, and others. MLBA members include outstanding lawyers who work or reside in the Miami Lakes area including northwest Miami-Dade County and southwest Broward County. Additionally, the MLBA offers memberships to law school students from both Miami-Dade and Broward County.
Mission Statement
The mission of the MLBA is promote equality of our members; serve the public interest by increasing awareness to the study of jurisprudence; foster respect for the law; preserve high standards of integrity, honor, and professional courtesy among our peers; facilitate the administration of justice; and to build close relationships among our members.
